Design trends keep evolving and moving along with the times; and as all brands shift into the modern era, we take a look some of the worst logo re-vamps of recent times.
1. Pepsi
This boring and pointless re-vamp surely puts Pepsi on the top of our pile. The old logo was a classic, a true icon of our times and to see it go for something as uninspired as this is a real shame.
After all the politics we have posted recently, I felt a wind down was in order. Here is the video for ‘Look’ from French musician Sébastien Tellier. The video was created by Mrzyk & Moriceau and has an amazing hypnotic quality to it. Sit back and enjoy.
The Digital Economy Bill has entered the ‘wash up’ stage, with the MP taking the ‘Shoot first, ask questions later’ approach. Opting to pass the bill with all it’s flaws and amend it later. Knowing our government, this approach isn’t filling me with reassurance.
38 Degrees raised over £20,000 to put an advert in today’s news papers. The ad will appear in today’s Guardian (Page 3), the Times (page 16) and hundreds of websites. One final push, and grand gesture not to get the bill rushed. Here is a preview ad:
